The Atkins Mug

The Story: Do you remember making sun prints when you were little? Picking up fallen leaves and gently placing them on light-sensitive paper? This mug is inspired by the collage and blue tint of that creative process and sun hitting the paper. Sun prints are also known as cyanotypes and human's first method of photography.

🌿 Our design is also heavily influenced by botanist Anna Atkins (1799-1871), one of the first women ever known to make a photograph. Many of her photographs are now in the public domain, and the fern pictured on our mug is Atkins's very own.

🌿 Use: inspired by the classic campfire mug, bring the campfire anywhere you go! This double-wall vacuum insulated mug keeps liquids hot or cold.

🌿 Care: hand wash recommended, but dishwasher safe.

🌿 Manufacturing: These mugs are manufactured by Miir, a Seattle-based, mission-driven company where every "product sold helps fund trackable giving projects at the intersection of communities and the environment." Register your "give code" (found on the bottom of your mug) at THIS link

Note: starting 12/10/21 at 12pm EST, all orders are final sale only.

Durable, stylish, creative, practical

I feel so stylish using this mug, and it keeps all my hot drinks hot for a long time and cold drinks cold! It's not the best for walking/traveling, as it has a hole on the top of the lid (for sipping) that doesn't have a closure. But the design sure makes me feel cool drinking from it :)
